Installation Instructions

Pre-Installation

Tiles must be installed on a clean, dry, and level subsurfaceAt least 24 hours before starting the installation, lay out all the tiles on the subsurface to allow them to acclimate. This will ensure the tiles are an accurate size and thicknessIn-floor radiant heat should be turned off for 24 hours prior to the installationInterlocking rubber tile should not be installed on top of carpet as the tiles will shift

Measuring & Cutting

If cuts are required, measure the desired length from the outside tab inwardLay tile on a flat surface; hold a metal straight edge on the desired cut line and cut with a sharp utility knifeKeep scoring the cut until separatedChange or snap off blades frequently to ensure clean cuts

Installation

Make sure all tiles are laid down with “arrow” pointing in the same directionBegin installation in the center point of the room working outwards towards the wallsAssure a tight fit by tapping tiles together as they are being installedIn order to create a finished straight edge, be sure to trim off the interlocking tabs

Maintenance

To clean mats, vacuum then use a damp cloth with warm water and a neutral cleanerProducts containing mineral solvents and acids will attack the composite structure of the rubber flooring and cause deteriorationDo not use wax on the recycled rubber flooringWhen cleaning equipment and furnishings with disinfectant or other strong cleaners, be careful that overspray or excess cleaner does not drip on the rubber flooring. Strong chemicals may cause the surface to deteriorate
