I’ve had it for a little over 2 weeks so i’ve had the chance to use it for a bit of lower body days, and i love it! I can use it for Rdls, split squats, sumo deadlifts and ofc hip thrusts. Let me know if you guys think of any others to use this machine for! You can get creative and it feels really sturdy. I was worried about storage as I live in a small area, but when i fold it up it’s about 2-3 inches in width so i can slide it inbetween my table and wall when not in use.
Overall this product was worth its money and it’s easy to set up and adjust the weights. I feel like I can use this and my bike and not worry about finding a different gym depending on where i’m living.

I bought this because in the gym I go to the machine that you can do hip thrust with are always occupied, furthermore this exercise is super awkward for me because male issues, I always have to drape a hoodie over myself because I feel exposed otherwise.
I ordered heavier bands (70lbs) from the bs website because I do much heavier reps at the gym, but just the bands it came with are crazy difficult (at least at first, will update later). I also like the fact that it’s much easier to center the weight over your glutes, the barbell either wants to jam into your hip bones or your private parts, no thanks.
My main complaint is that the wood is not very grippy, the slats carved into the wood are much to shallow to stop anything from sliding, they seem to only be for decoration, however it’s not a deal breaker I just do it without shoes.
However, another reason I bought it was because I am an amputee who uses a prosthetic leg, which means even if I remove my shoe I am still using a plastic foot that cannot sit flat on the wood, so this flaw is a big inconvenience as my shoes are very good on grip but have nothing to grip against besides relatively smooth wood.

I was really excited to try the BootySprout, and the first use went well—it felt sturdy and worked as expected. But after folding it up for storage just once, the foot board came off, and I noticed two screws were missing.
It’s frustrating and disappointing to spend money on something that falls apart so quickly. I expected better quality and durability, especially for a product meant to handle resistance and body weight. Definitely not what I hoped for.

I am male but I have tried to do hip thrusts with the barbell and always found that I feel it in my hamstrings and never in my glutes no matter what I tried – I bought this because it would be much easier at least but after trying it a few times it's so much more comfortable and easier but more to the point I can feel the work out massively in my glutes! If you need something to work your glutes whether you're male or female this is absolutely brilliant. Also folds away fairly small.

If I could give a zero I would.
This is a poorly designed machine that started falling apart even with body weight within a few days. I'm mid 60kgs and 5 ft 5 so not a particularly heavy person.
The seller is not great either. They seem to be making it impossible to get a refund by insisting the jammed machine which cannot be flat packed is somehow miraculously placed in a box. It is so big that a box that big cannot be bought and I'm no carpenter! Massive headache. I would stay well clear and consider higher spec benches instead.
